The skeleton stock is versatile enough to work with any AR build. It features a low profile adjustment latch, angled rubber buttpad, and slick sided profile. The butt-pad profile is angled to accommodate plate carriers and the aggressive texturing will ensure minimal movement when manipulating the rifle under stress. For your safety, MCS recommends this part be installed by a competent, qualified gunsmith/installer with an understanding of the weapon platform that the part is being installed on. Always make sure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction when working.
The Mil-spec Receiver Extension Kit is constructed from aircraft grade aluminum with rolled threading. The buffer tube has been hard coat anodized for maximum corrosion and wear resistance. A standard buffer spring and 3oz carbine buffer are included as well as a castle nut and lower receiver end plate.This assembly kit will fit on all Mil-Spec lower receivers. It is also compatible with most A - R 308/A - R 10 rifles but requires a modified buffer and spring for proper operation.
