Whether you're looking for a buffer replacement for your pistol caliber carbine, or your regular 5.56, 300BLK, or 7.62x39 AR, we have a short buffer system for you. We're breaking down the internals based on the two types of bolt carriers: integrated and non-integrated bolts. Integrated carriers have the bolt face machined directly into the carrier (common blowback 9mm, 40S&W, 45ACP, and 10mm carriers). Non-integrated bolts cover your typical 5.56, 300BLK, 7.62x39, and the CMMG radially delayed blowback calibers.
The 3.5 version will not require any modification to your carrier or end plate. Just install the short buffer system in place of your standard buffer, spring, and receiver extension.

3.5” short pistol buffer system
I purchased the Short buffer system to provide a more compact length to my 223 pistol. So far, I am extremely happy with my selection. The buffer system mates with a Palmetto State Armory Lower under a Bear Creek Side Charge Upper, with the Hitman Industries 4.5” barrel is marvelously. The balance this short buffer system adds to the weapon platform is incredible. Now aI have the ultimate “Truck Gun”. Highly Reccommend!
