The MCS 9mm AR-9 Upper Build Kit built around a compact 5-inch direct blowback platform. The kit centers on a 5-inch slim profile parkerized steel barrel with a 1:10 twist rate and 1/2x36 thread pitch, paired with a black 9mm A2 birdcage flash hider and a black crush washer. The USA-made Black Diamond Series slick side billet aluminum upper receiver features an ejection port cover and no forward assist housing, paired with a 4-inch Ace Series freefloat M-LOK handguard in black aluminum.
